The title says it all! THEM SKATES got a mini ramp installed at the shop. When Jon told me about it, I was very excited. An indoor ramp. Another excuse to go hang at the shop with my friends. And to quote Kevin Dowling, “Jon having a mini ramp in his office is good for everyone.” So Keene Ramps did the build, and we watched them patiently construct the 4 foot high, 16 feet wide beauty in the span of about 6 hours. As soon as it was done, before they could even sweep the sawdust we were putting our skates on! I’ve gotta say it’s been awesome to see the shop grow over the years. From the first warehouse to this new location in downtown Santa Ana. Congrats Jon, and THEM SKATES. Thanks for letting me be a part of it.

I recently enjoyed another trip around the sun. I’m happy to be able to spend time with friends and family along this journey. I look forward to more travel, laughs, memories, and the unexpected, but I began my birthday with some skating. The tricks could’ve been cleaned up, but the over all fun of still being able to skate with my friends can’t be replaced. Cheers to all of the birthday well wishes.
A Road Trip in December.
The Big Homie Biz AKA Kevon, announces he’s throwing a box jam in NorCal and everyone gets hyped. People start talking about they’re in and we should do this and stay there. But it’s just that, talk… That is until a few stand behind their words and a real plan is starting to form. Kay and Oz make dog sitting arrangements. Jerm and I been ready. Greg can’t make it, but we’ve got a wild card! Ant gets his permission slip signed and we’re on! The drive up is a lot of laughs and catching up. Ant takes the first shift behind the wheel and after a pit stop decides he’s just going to finish it all. We hit some thick fog along the way, but took our time and finally made it. At breakfast we get word that someone has spilt motor oil all over the park! Biz has some serious haters, but he’s also got more serious support. The locals step up and get supplies to clean up the oil and the event will go on! Since they had things covered, we opted to check out a spot Oz has scoped out earlier in the week. Couple of clips and some phtos to start the day. On our way to the Grindmas Box Jam and when we arrive it’s going off. There’s a good size crowd of skaters and specatators all around. Biz said this was an excuse to get everyone together and it sure did. Ant ended up taking home the win, and Kay got ladies best fit! So we didn’t come up for nothing! Haha. Hung out with everyone after and caught a quick session Sunday before heading back south. I didn’t shoot many photos because I opted to skate. But here’s a few images both Ant and I managed to snag from the weekend.

Hello.
If you’re reading this, you’ve found my blog. I’m not really sure what this is yet, but I know I wanted a place to write and share some images that wasn’t a social media platform. So here it goes. I’ll be sharing words and images from random events and travels. It’ll develop along the way and hopefully be entertaining. So here’s to 2026!
